Having grown
up there, Brazil is not a foreign context for Lois. For
more than twenty years, Lois has worked to disciple and
evangelize the deaf community around her. With an
estimated 20,000 deaf people in her city - Curitiba - alone, she
understands the need clearly.
For the past two years, Lois has been partnering
with Wycliffe Bible Translators in developing a
sign-language translation of the Bible on DVD.
She has facilitated training for several young
deaf adults who joined her in this project.
With such a monumental task in front of her with
a translation unlike any before (printed
translations often take years, even decades to
complete), Lois and her team need your prayers
and financial support. We are proud to partner
with a missionary with this dedication and
vision.
